At EyeCare Cullman, Dr. Dawson sees patients with general eye problems and routine eye exams. This may involve only the prescription of corrective lenses or medical and surgical treatment.
We have staff available to answer your questions weekdays 7AM to 4 PM or to schedule an appointment with Dr. Dawson on Mon., Wed., or Friday. We also work-in emergency eye problems when the doctor is in the office. After- hour problems are directed to the emergency department of the Eye Foundation Hospital in Birmingham, open daily 24hrs.
EyeCare Cullman can schedule appointments as soon as a few days in advance. We are aware that your time is valuable and we take special efforts to minimizewaiting room time to be seen by the doctor. Our staff is friendly and well trained and we have certified ophthalmic technicians.
For several years, EyeCare Cullman has offered Botox injections for the temporary elimination of dynamic wrinkles of the forehead, brow and crows feet of the eyelids, either for both cosmetic purposes or the treatment of essential blepharospasm. Dr. Dawson also performs upper lid blepharoplasty for droopy eyelids due to excessive skin.
Most recently, Lattise has been offered for in-office purchase for the growth and enhancement of eyelashes. This is a drop that is applied daily to the base of the eyelashes that can effectively increase the number of lashes by 100% and lengthen and darken by 25%.
