Silver Scissors and the Emerald Spa is a warm, friendly, inspiring place to come and relax and enjoy leisure time. Our clients can't wait to visit again. Our properties are two Bowater Houses set in the town site area across from the beautiful Majestic lawn. We have been serving the people on the west coast of Newfoundland and Labrador for 30 years. From the very beginning, excellent service, quality products, and a well educated staff has always been our goal. We have grown to over twenty on staff with a full service day spa. We have traveled all over Canada and the United States attending shows and classes from Vidal Sassoon, Martin Parsons and Chris Barron. Our clients have come to rely on us to provide them with the best and latest our industry has to offer.
One of our biggest accomplishments is showing clients how to regenerate hair growth which may have been gone for twenty years or more. Another is our signature tunnel cutting that takes dry, frizzy, unruly hair to the most beautiful, manageable hair anyone would love to have. We have all kinds of techniques that give you a fresh look. It may mean giving you an eyebrow tint with an arch. Silver Scissors has a staff that will suit any age or style. Our clients range from infants to 90 years young. We love that we are a family salon and spa; it always makes our days interesting.
