My husband and I have been bringing our son, now three, to Cuddles & Kisses for about two and a half years. Our 6-month-old daughter has also been enrolled in the infant room since August of this year.

We moved to Tolland from Ellington, and in looking for a new daycare center, were impressed by Cuddles & Kisses professionalism, caring, security, and reputation. We have not been disappointed.

The staff at Cuddles, from the co-Owners Eileen and Michelle, to each caregiver, is communicative to us as parents and has provided our son, and now our daughter, with a nurturing environment.

We have felt confident that our children are well cared for and offered a positive learning experience. As I mentioned earlier there were a number of things that attracted us to Cuddles & Kisses, among them: the entrance security key code system, sign in/out sheets, the fact that there is an administrative person at the door each day over seeing who is coming in and out of the facility, the child's daily record of meals, naps, etc., the fact that specific staff member, the adherence to exacting state requirements in feeding, care, and cleanliness, and an overall cheerful atmosphere.

We also feel that Cuddles & Kisses goes above and beyond what many daycare centers provide by bringing in entertainment for the children, offering extracurricular activities such as craft and story times, and being involved with the Tolland community at large.

In bringing our children to Cuddles & Kisses, we have felt that each child's individuality has been honored, and that both our son and daughter are looked after by an attentive, well trained, caring staff.

I want to describe my wonderful experience at Cuddles and Kisses Childcare. Both of my sons are enrolled at the school. The oldest one has been with the school for close to 3 years, and the baby has been there since I went back to work over a year ago.

I believe that this is the best childcare facility in the area. My children love going to school and look forward to it each day. The teachers and directors are very caring and treat the children with the utmost compassion. Even though my oldest child has a medical condition, the directors were willing to work with us and meet my child's unique needs. He always receives the best of care while attending Cuddles and Kisses.

The curriculum is another area of strength. My 4 1/2 year old is actually starting to read and also knows his numbers. He has been working on the alphabet with the teachers for a few years now and it shows. His language skills are well ahead of other children his age. In addition the children spend time on various arts and craft projects. My baby has done several projects already. He loves to paint, draw and use the sensory table. My older son has moved into more complex projects this year including holiday and cooking projects. He really enjoys using his measuring skills when they cook.

Finally I want to address the sense of community at the school. They take part in a food collection every year for the local food pantry as well as various other activities. This teaches the children how important it is to help others.

I am delighted with the Cuddles and Kisses Childcare. I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.

My daughter Kathryn has been attending Cuddles & Kisses TLC full time since she was 8 weeks old in January 2008 and we will have another child at the center next year. The childcare service provided by the facility is of the highest quality primarily for the following three reasons: 1) care of the child, 2) experience and education of the staff, and 3) cleanliness and security of the facility.

First, I know that when my child is dropped off to school in the morning she is provided not only with people that take care of her during the day, but those who truly care for her education, health and well being as if she were their own child. She is provided with activities that encourage her learning such as story time, in addition to activities such as music time and water sensory to encourage her development.

Second, the staff at the center has many years of experience in child care and continues to promote and develop the staff. I see meeting notices for the staff on continuing education surrounding different topics regularly. This provides me, as a parent, reassurance that my child is surrounded by caregivers who are proactive in bettering themselves in their career as a child care professional.

Lastly, the facility is a secure facility, which was a key factor in our decision to choose this center. The doors are locked at all times and parents are provided with a code to enter the facility. This code is changes every few months. If someone on an approved "pick-up" list enters the facility, they must show an ID in order to pick up the child. In addition, certain "chores" are performed each day in order to keep the facility clean. Every day when I pick up my child I see floors being swept and mopped and items being sanitized. This is essential to the prevention of illnesses in a large child care center.

The above three reasons are the primary reasons that Cuddles & Kisses TLC provide the highest quality of child care among many, many others. Each and every one of the staff love the children as if they were their own and would do anything to help them grow into the people they need to be to have happy, healthy and successful lives. It takes quite a bit for a parent to entrust the care of their children in people and I wouldn't trust my child's care to anyone else.

We had heard good things about Cuddles & Kisses Childcare Center while we were searching for a new daycare facility for our two boys about two years ago. We decided to give it a try. We found that our boys were in a safe and enriching environment. The staff gets to know each child's personality quickly and know how to handle their every mood. There is always music, dancing, games, reading, movies, and playground time, just to name a few.

Our youngest, who is now 2 1/2, has a better vocabulary than some 4 year olds we know. I believe it has a lot to do with the center's staff and how they practice the educational activities the children participate in on a daily basis. Our eldest is now 6 and is no longer at the center as he takes the bus home now, but he does mention that he misses it.

The Center is well managed and the staff display great dedication to the children and their well-being. The location is convenient for our commute and the hours are great. We can pick up our son without a disruption to our normal work schedules.

We highly recommend Cuddles & Kisses Childcare Center to anyone looking for great childcare.
