WILLIAM P. LANE
William is a graduate of Sacred Heart University. He enrolled in the M.B.A./M.P.A. Program at the University of Hartford prior to being admitted to the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor Degree in 1984. He is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyer’s Association and of the Red Mass Committee of the Waterbury Bar Association. For many years he taught part-time as an adjunct lecturer in business law at Naugatuck Valley Community College, in addition to practicing law full-time.
Outside of work he is a member of the Goshen Planning & Zoning Commission. He is also a member of the Goshen Historical Society and the Goshen Agricultural Society, where he volunteers each Labor Day Weekend in the Photography Exhibit at the Goshen Fair. He is currently studying part-time for his Master of Arts in Literature Degree at Southern Connecticut State University.
ROSEMARY O’TOOLE LANE
Rosemary graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Boston College and obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1985. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
Rosemary also works as a volunteer each year at the Goshen Fair, in past years in the Boy Scout Booth along with one or more of the Lanes’ three sons, and most recently in the Photography Exhibit with her husband. She is an avid runner and participates in many of the 5K, 10K and Half-Marathon events in the Waterbury and Litchfield Hills areas. She is a member of the Litchfield Track Club, which annually hosts the Connecticut State-Wide Cross-Country Junior Olympic Championships.
THE LANES
The Lanes met at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where they both attended Law School evenings while working full-time. Both attorneys are admitted to practice law before all state and federal courts in Connecticut.
