Bergdale Insurance Agency has been a family owned and operated independent insurance agency in Gettysburg since 1968. It was founded by Marlin I Bergdale in 1968 and is now owned and operated by Erik Bergdale. We provide a wide and varied list of insurance products for many long time personal and business clients in the Gettysburg and Adams County area.

We have access to many stable and secure regional insurance companies like Penn National Ins., Harleysville Insurance Co., Lititz Mutual Insurance Co., Ohio Casualty/Liberty Mutual, and Progressive Insurance Co. We also represent Juniata Mutual and Elizabethtown Ins. Co., as well as several specialty lines companies. We provide a wide selection of coverages to meet insurance needs for personal automobile, home, boat and motorcycle umbrella, farms, life health as well as commercial insurance needs and bonds.

We also believe in being active in our community and supporting our local civic organizations and fire companies for over 25 years.

Together, the current staff has a combined insurance experience of over 71 years. We are proud of our hometown service and are dedication to helping our clients.
