About Cook Children's Physician Network

                                                                                               

Cook Children’s Physician Network is the largest non-profit pediatric physician network in North Texas with almost 300 physicians. The network includes primary care physicians and pediatric subspecialists with offices in more than 30 locations throughout Tarrant and Denton counties, and operates physician offices in five medically underserved neighborhoods. The network also has increased access to pediatric specialty care through outreach clinics in 15 communities in the North and West Texas.

The Physician Network is only one part of Cook Children’s Health Care System. Cook Children’s Medical Center provides medical and surgical care to the children of Fort Worth and North and West Texas.

Today’s Cook Children’s Health Care System provides nationally-recognized services for newborns, children, and adolescents with a range of illnesses, including cancer, heart disease, and lunch ailments. In addition to Cook Children’s Physician Network, the System also includes a 24 hour emergency department, community and regional clinicis, a health plan, home health services, air transport service, and community advocacy programs. Cook Children’s provides more thatn $100 million annually in uncompensated care.

We provide primary care, specialty services, urgent care, and hospital services for children newborn to age 18.

At Cook Children’s Mansfield Offices, our physicians take the time to get involved in each child’s care, providing annual well child and newborn exams, sports and camp physicals, flu shots, treatment of injuries, rechecks, concerns regarding ADD & ADHD sick visits and other parent concerns.

And to accommodate today’s busy parent, we offer same day, early morning and late afternoon appointments
