About Scriven Christian Academy

Scriven Christian Academy was founded in September, 1978. It is named after the well-known preacher, Joseph Scriven, who resided in Port Hope. Our mission is to provide quality learning opportunities in a positive environment with dedicated and caring staff to enable each pupil to acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes for an ever-changing world.

The staff, with a low-pupil-teacher ratio, can provide individual assistance to our students (grades JK - 12). We strive to build and reinforce the development of a positive self-concept in our students as this is vital for both academic and social growth.
