A Little Bit About Us
•Dr. Rick Mastronardi
Dr. Mastronardi was born in Leamington and has lived in the area all his life. He graduated first in his class in high school and went on to receive a Degree in Biochemistry at the University of Windsor. He then went to the prestigious University of Waterloo for his Degree in Optometry. While there, he did an ocular health internship in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2000 he graduated and in 2002 he opened his Kingsville practice, together with his wife and business partner, Dr. Jean O’Connor. He now spends most of his time at this Kingsville practice while doing some clinics around the area.
•Dr. Jean O’Connor
Dr. O’Connor was born in Kingston, to a well respected medical family. She graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree Summa Cum Laude in Biochemistry. She then went on to the prestigious University of Waterloo attaining her degree in Optometry, also doing an ocular health intership in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated in 2001 and opened a practice in Windsor. She then opened her Kingsville practice with her husband, Dr. Rick Mastronardi in 2002. She now splits her time between those two practices and her growing family.
Our Vision
Our practice was founded on simple principles. We strive to provide our patients with the best quality products and services at reasonable prices. As such, we provide well-known designer labels on one hand as well as package priced glasses on the other. We are also proud to offer an on staff, well-reputed ophthalmologist who does routine clinics at our practice. In order to provide a yet higher level of customer service, we have installed an in house optical lab. This allows us to provide excellent service and glasses in as little as 20 minutes. That represents a service that our patients appreciate.
