Brian was born in Toronto in 1957 and lived in Etobicoke until age 16.
His family then moved to Moonstone where he helped his family run a beef
farm while attending high school in Orillia. He then studied
Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, followed by dentistry at the University of
Toronto.
Brian started his dental career in a small under serviced town, Smooth
Rock Falls. This small northern Ontario town, population 2400, was predominantly a
pulp and paper town. It was while in Smooth Rock Falls that he became interested in the
specialty of Orthodontics and was accepted into the University of
Alberta in Edmonton. The orthodontic specialty training involved an additional two
years and he and his family then settled in Sudbury in 1988 where he opened his orthodontic office.
Brian loves to fly and he received his private pilots licence in 1995. He now
owns a Cessna 180 on floats and loves to fly to his remote camp up near
Biscotasing. Walleye fishing is one of his passions. Really, any kind of
fishing!!!
Brian is also an avid squash player and coach. He has been involved with
this game since the age of twenty and now plays out of the Sudbury YMCA.
Brian is the father of four boys Marshall (27), Joel (25), Scott (23),
and Brad (20). They are all busy building their own careers and Marshall
recently opened up his own dental practice in Sudbury, while Brad is starting
his second year of university in Halifax.
Brian loves his Orthodontic career and is very proud of his staff and
his office. He attends all the latest courses and continues to use the
"cutting edge" techniques that are constantly changing in this
specialty.
Patty has been the receptionist/secretary at Brian's office since it opened its doors in 1988. Patty is a dedicated animal lover and has two cats (her kids lol). Nicole is a self-taught lab technician and has been employed at the office for 13 years. Nicole has developed quite a skill for fabricating orthodontic appliances and enjoys the challenge of learning new techniques. She loves to ballroom dance, enjoys the tranquility of country living and treasures time spent with her first grandchild.
Connie is a dental hygienist who graduated from Cambrian College in 1997. She has been employed at the office for 18 years. Connie is a top notch squash player and she is ranked in Ontario and Canada in Ladies A.

Francine is our dental assistant and has been working at the office for 5 years. She occasionally fills in at the front desk and is also responsible for the inventory and bookkeeping. Francine is very busy with her three children and loves the cottage life.
Nichole is a receptionist at the front desk. Nichole has a passion for travelling, especially to Greece where her family is originally from, but loves to go anywhere she possibly can. She is a graduate of the University of Guelph where she completed an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and History. Aside from her obvious love of books and reading, Nichole is an avid shopper, and loves everything to do with fashion, television, movies, and pop-culture. Nichole lives with her husband Jonathan and their super cute Morkie named Jack.
