What is Chiropractic…
Chiropractic is a health profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of both muscles and joints, including the effects of these disorders on one’s nervous system and overall health. Chiropractors recognize that the body has the natural ability to fight disease and achieve a state of health and therefore use neither drugs nor surgery in their treatments. Many factors can be responsible for your discomfort. Dr. Lisa is interested in detecting, reducing and preventing the cause of your pain. Chiropractic care is a natural approach to better health that is proven safe and effective.Chiropractic treatment is performed by manipulating or adjusting spinal misalignments thereby restoring movement to fixated spinal joints. Just about everyone is a candidate; infants, children, seniors and everyone in between. If an adjustment is contraindicated, other methods of treatment will be performed or a referral will be made to a specialist. Naturally chiropractic adjusting procedures are modified to suit each patient for maximum comfort and results. Chiropractic care is a natural approach to better health that is proven safe and effective.
To maximize treatment outcomes, in addition to spinal and joint adjustments, state of the art equipment including ultrasound therapy, electrical muscle stimulation, TENS, laser therapy, ice or heat, will be incorporated into your care plan. Dr. Lisa may also suggest acupuncture and soft tissue (muscle) therapy prior to your chiropractic adjustment. New to the clinic is Radial Shockwave Therapy. A non-surgical treatment
which aids in the elimination of chronic injured tissue by breaking it down
and then further regenerating new and stronger muscles, ligaments and
tendons. At Cabana Court Chiropractic, we believe it is important that sufficient time is spent with each patient.
