Our practice was founded by Kirk Massner who began his career with the belief that he would treat his patients with the same respect and personal attention that he would desire for his family and loved ones. For over 23 years, Dr. Massner has made it a primary goal to respect your time, listen to your concerns, and to treat you with compassion.
ABOUT US
KIRK MASSNER DDS
- Dr. Massner has been practicing dentistry for over 23 years in the Burlington area. A 1978 graduate of Burlington community high school, he was a National Honor Society member as well as an Iowa All-State baseball player. He participated in baseball, basketball, chorus, band and numerous clubs. Dr Massner attended Southeastern Community College where he was President of the Student Senate.
He also played on the Blackhawk baseball team, and earned his Associate of Science degree. He attended the University of Iowa and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1982 and then graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry with his D.D.S degree in 1985. He and his wife Caroline have been married for over 21 years. They have three sons; Kyler, Kody, and Kace. Dr Massner is very involved in coaching the youth of Southeast Iowa in numerous sports.
Professionally, he is known for his gentle and caring manner with his patients as well as his attention to detail and excellence. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and past President of the Des Moines County Dental Society.
ANNIE BOYD
- Annie is our Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been with our office for over 12 years. Annie has been a practicing dental hygienist for 20 years. Prior to working for Dr Massner, Annie practiced in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area including The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Annie is married and has two children.
HEATHER BROCKETT
- Heather is our front office administrator and appointment coordinator. She has been with our office for over a year. Prior to moving to Burlington, Heather worked for a dental office in Louisiana. She is married and has two children.
CHRISTI MITCHELL
- Christi is a Certified Dental Assistant. She has been with our office for over 6 years. Prior to working for Dr Massner, Christi was a dental assistant in Illinois. She is married and has one child.
KRISTIN HAYS
- Kristin is a Certified Dental Assistant. She recently started working for Dr Massner after moving back to the area. She has been a dental assistant for 3 years. She is married and has one child.
