Dr. Ayaz Khan was raised in the Chicago area. He attended University of Illinois at Chicago for his undergraduate studies and then graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1994. He did his clinical rotation at Hype Park Osteopathic Hospital in Chicago. He has practiced in both private and corporate settings and hospital based settings. Dr. Khan enjoys all aspects of patient care, including general eye care, management of diabetic patients and co-management of cataract and refractive surgery patients. He specializes in contact lens fitting, especially for those with keratoconus and dry eye. Dr. Khan's wife is an optometrist and they have two beautiful children. As a family, they enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, golfing and skiing. He has served on school Board Committees and has coached basketball for his children's school for the past 3 years. Dr. Khan is also an avid golfer and also enjoys working on cars and woodworking.

Dr. Ghazala Ali was raised in Ontario, Canada. She graduated from University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario in 1990 with a Bachelor's of Science and then graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1994. She did her clinical rotation at Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospital. She has worked in a multitude of settings including private practice and commercial practices. Dr. Ali practices full-scope optometry including primary eye care, fitting of all types of contact lenses and pediatrics. She is married to Dr. Khan and has two children. She has been a Girl Scout Leader for the past two years. She also enjoys skiing, biking and traveling.

Dr. Ali enjoys taking time with her patients, and feels this is essential to providing the best patient care possible. She looks forward to serving the community for many years to come.
