Oral Sedation Dentistry

Once you have experienced sedation dentistry with Dr. Crafton, you will never be afraid of going to the dentist again! With sedation dentistry, you will be sedated just enough to be unaware of time passing, just as if you were sleeping. You will wake up refreshed and with no memory of what was accomplished.

We will begin the sedation process with an initial consultation where all of your questions and concerns will be answered. We will then be ready to schedule your sedation appointment. You will discover that your treatment will be performed more comfortably than you ever thought possible. Our specially trained team will monitor you continually throughout your sedation appointment. The level of safety involved with the medication used is outstanding. Comfort and safety are our number one priorities for our patients. We can do as much dental treatment as possible in as little as one appointment, which eliminates multiple trips to the dentist. Overall, sedation dentistry is a dream come true!

How Does Sedation Dentistry Work?

You are given a small pill the night before your appointment to ensure a good nights rest. You will take another small pill one hour before your dental appointment. By the time you arrive to your appointment, you will be very drowsy.

When you arrive in our office, you will be escorted into a room full of thick, warm blankets and pillows. More medication will be given if necessary. Once your work is completed, your companion will return you home for a comfortable, relaxing day.
