Because children do not develop at the same rate, the infant and toddler rooms provide a combination of individual and group activities. The daily schedule for the infants and toddlers are based on the specific needs of each child, giving them the opportunity to learn at their own pace. The infant and toddler programs are introduced throughout the day as time and your child's interest permits. A flexible daily schedule is posted in both rooms, with the toddler schedule introducing a more regular routine and more choices. Weekly activities are posted as well as notes to inform you of your child's play and learning. Daily activities are designed to provide experiences in each of the following areas:

Sense of Self, Movement, Exploring Objects, Social Relations, Music, Early Quantity & Number, Space, Creative Representation, Communication & Language

The child to staff ratio for infants is 1 staff to 4 children. For toddlers the ratio is 1 staff to 7 children.

The daily schedules of the preschool rooms are designed to offer children a variety of learning experiences including both group and individual activities. Preschoolers are a very dynamic and expressive group who require programming and consistent schedules to meet the needs of social interaction, personal growth and development, physical and emotional changes. Our daily activities are scheduled and provided on a regular basis and include but are not limited to:

Stories, Drama, Music, Movement, Cooperative Play, Cognitive Development

The child to staff ratio for preschool is 1 staff to 10 children.

Our school age program offers activities and scheduling to compliment the education a child is receiving at school. Although we cannot directly follow school because of diversity, we can offer computer usage, cognitive development, manipulative and creative activities, time management, life skills, sports and recreation activities and events, relaxation and fun times with friends.

The child to staff ratio for school age is 1 staff to 15 children.

No child will ever be left alone while in our care. Children will be supervised at all times, including when children are sleeping and while they are using the bathroom. A staff person is within sight and hearing of a child at all times so that the staff person can intervene to protect the health and safety and the rights of the children in our care. This facility is licensed to serve 124 children - Infant 13, Toddler 21, Preschool/School Age Combination 90, not to exceed 30 School Age.
All policies, procedures and curriculum are available upon request.

Your children are your most precious gifts in life and we will strive to be the best we can for their individual growth and development. Thank you for sharing them with us!
