From the St Lawrence Arts Council, she received the Arts Recognition Award for her contributions to arts in the area - directing melodramas at the Edwards Opera House, directing plays and musicals with the Grasse River Players, acting with SUNY Potsdam Department of Theatre and Dance. She acts in the locally produced Independent film "Dissection of An Olive." She performs her original one- woman musical DIAMOND LIL, ON STAGE throughout the country. She created a show about one of the North Country's foremost politicians from 1938-1950 - Sen. Rhoda Fox Graves. She researched, wrote and directed FOREVER COWS - a multimedia theatrical event celebrating Canton's 200th Birthday.
AMERICAN MUSE is Elaine's drama with dance and film projections. It is the first time the story of Supermodel Audrey Munson, 1891-1996, has been told. It was accepted for professional presentation at the Great Plains Theatre Conference, June 2010. The goal is to have the show move to New York City. Click Here for the news article.
