Oxygen Therapy

This session covers delivery modes, type II respiratory failure, oxygen and CO2 transport, causes of hypoxia, O2 saturation and high flow and low flow systems.

Introduction To Ventilator Care

In this session you will learn the goals of mechanical ventilation, indications of mechanical ventilation, terms, and five steps to ventilator commitment.

Pulmonary Assessment

This session provides the ins and outs assessing the pulmonary system of all types of patients. Breath sounds, pulmonary compromise, breathing patterns, and pulmonary physiology are just a few areas covered in this one hour class.

Emergency Resuscitation

Your patient is in cardiac arrest. What are your roles and responsibilities of resuscitation? Practice airway management, the use of a bag valve mask device, suctioning and other life saving techniques.

Hypertension Emergencies

This program will cover the epidemiology and physiology of hypertension. It will provide the definition and care of the hypertension emergency.
 

ETHICS 101 In Health Care

How do ethics impact patient care? What standards guide the conduct of the employee? Explore case histories of unethical patient care.

Attitudes In Health Care

Got any attitudes in your organization? This program will teach you where attitudes come from and how to deal with them. You’ll even learn how to change the negative attitude.

Dealing With The COPD Patient

Chronic Lung Disease is scary, frustration and just plain difficult to deal with. This program will look at the cause and care of the COPD patient.

Seizures

The types, causes and emergency care of active seizures are covered in this program.

CPR Refresher Course

This is the American Heart Association’s CPR Refresher course. It will cover new updates and the latest standards. Those successfully completing the course will receive AHA CPR card. Each class is limited to 8 students.

Patient Falls

This program will cover both the assessment and the stabilization of a victim of a fall.

Noninvasive Respiratory Monitoring

Understand the clinical use of Capnometry and Oximetry. Discover how these instruments can provide important patient information to the care provider.

Shock

This session will provide the cause of shock, the types of shock, pathophysiology and the stages of shock. Initial treatment and stabilization techniques will be discussed.

Patient Assessment

This is a quick and easy process for assessing the patient’s condition.

Orthopedic Injuries

This session will cover the different types of fractures and the initial care for fractures.

Respiratory Emergencies

The pathophysiology of Acute Respiratory Failure will be covered in this session. The causes, the symptoms and treatments are just a few areas that will be reviewed.

A Pictorial View of Trauma

This is a very graphic review of various traumatic injuries and there treatments. The session also explores trauma prevention techniques.

Cardiovascular Emergencies

Anatomy, pathophysiology and numerous cardiac disease processes will be covered in an easy to understand learning session.

Infectious Diseases

This session will look at the prevention of disease processes in health care facilities. In addition the challenges of a pandemic will be discussed.
