- Powers of Attorney
A power of attorney allows you to designate a person to act as your agent. Selecting the person
who will serve as your agent is an important decision. There are two types of powers of attorney.
They are two separate documents and they serve two very different purposes.
They are:
- Financial power of attorney. (Sometimes referred to as a "business power of attorney").
- Medical power of attorney. (Sometimes referred to as a "durable health care power of
attorney").

- Living Wills
A living will allows you to direct in advance the kind of medical care you want if you are ever in
a permanently unconscious state or in a terminal condition. We'll help you decide if a living will

- Real Estate
We provide a full range of real estate services, including representing our clients in purchases
and sales of real estate and in matters regarding land contracts, leases, easements and adverse
possession. We prepare purchase contracts, mortgages, leases, easements and a variety of other

Through our title agency, Professional Title Services, we also provide title exams, title
insurance and closings. We also close loans for area lenders. Professional Title Services issues
title insurance through Ohio Bar Title, a First American company.

- Estates and Trusts
We represent executors, administrators and trustees in administering estates and trusts. Our
experience in estate and trust administration helps us guide our clients through this process.
- Income Tax Preparation
We assist clients with individual income tax preparation. We also prepare income tax returns for
partnerships, estates, trusts and guardianships.
- Business Planning
The type of entity you choose for your business is an important decision. We'll help you
evaluate the available options, including whether your business should organize as a corporation,
limited liability company, partnership or sole proprietorship.
- Litigation
We represent clients in a variety of litigation matters, including lawsuits concerning business
relationships, real estate, probate estates, trusts and corporate disputes. We assist financial
institutions, corporations and universities, as well as individuals and small business when they
are involved in court proceedings.
- Guardianships
A Guardianship is a court proceeding in which one person is appointed to be legally responsible
for a minor or person who is unable to manage his or her own affairs because of advanced age or
mental or physical disability. We represent clients in establishing guardianships and maintaining
them, including preparation of accountings and annual reports for the Probate Court.
- Adoptions
We represent clients in adoption proceedings in Probate Court.
Professional Title Services
Professional Title Services, Ltd. offers a full range of title, escrow and closing services.
We are an underwriter for Ohio Bar Title Insurance Company, a First American Company.

We are available for in-person consultations at our office at 60 Sycamore Street, Tiffin, Ohio.
In-home Consultation
We offer in-home consultations in Tiffin and the surrounding area for clients who are unable to
travel to our office due to physical limitations or medical conditions. An additional fee applies.
