Entwistle & Roberts has extensive experience in all areas of family law involving children, voluntary adoptions, paternity, legal and physical custody of children, child support, emanciipation and Grandparent's rights. Whenever possible our attorneys try to use a collaborative approach with opposing counsel and/or family members to resolve family related issues.

Family law also includes the rights and obligations of family members the law recognizes, including the right to physical discipline children and children's rights to inheritance. Entwistle & Roberts has served both as advocates for parents and grandparents, as a parent coordinator in high-conflict custody/visitation cases, as court-appointed counsel for children, and as a mediator for families who wish to resolve their family issues together instead of through litigation.

Because of her 20+ years of experience in the field of family law, Barbrara Jo Entwistle is regularly appointed as a Master (serving as a specially appointed judge in divorce cases), to hear testimony, to receive evidence, and to make recommendations to the Court on issues regarding separation, divorce, alimony, equitable distribution of marital assets, and claims for counsel fees and costs. This experience provides invaluable insight which benefits Entwistle & Roberts' clients involved in divorce.
