Robert Martin - MS, CFNP
Mr. Martin is the owner and chief practitioner with over 15 years experience in healthcare as both a practitioner and microbiologist. He received his BS in Microbiology from Penn State, and MSN from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. He lectures on a wide range of topics including heart disease, high blood pressure, menopause, and womens health. His research activities have focused on both breast and colon cancer at the cellular level. He has received numerous professional and community service awards, and remains active in promoting a healthy lifestyle for the entire family. Fluent in Spanish, his practice is one of East Tennessee's largest providers of healthcare for the Hispanic population. He is known for providing high quality-affordable healthcare. He is married with 4 children Karen, Jared, Jessica, and Madison.
Mel Viney - MSN, CEN, FNP-BC
Mel Viney completed an Associates Degree at South Georgia College in Douglas, GA, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Medical College of Georgia, and most recently a Master of Science in Nursing at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN. He has over 15 years of emergency and intensive care experience, most recently in the Emergency Room at Parkwest. He is a recipient of Parkwest Hospital’s Leann Baker Professional Nursing and Clinical Excellence Awards. His research on electrocardiograms in patients with ST-Elevation myocardial infarctions has won multiple awards and has been presented at several local, state, national, and international conferences. His interests include women’s health, vulnerable populations, and preventative health. He is married with two girls Lily and Laurel.
