Our wonderful log home was built by Jim Ressler of Ressler Construction and we are pleased to recommend him to everyone, for any type of building or remodeling. In all our years of building homes across the lower 48, we have never had such a competent Contractor. He is a man of his word and has years of experience in all facets of building. He is on the job site and working along with the sub-contractors when necessary. He is also a 'perfectionist' in all that he does. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty as Contractor to get our home built in a timely manner and built it to perfection (or as close as humanly possible)! He has worked with us on every aspect of the building of our home and we are extremely pleased by every thing he has done. We are pretty 'picky' people when it comes to our home building and Jim has not said or done anything that has created any problems. He has gently made suggestions, while we were making decisions and he was usually right. We appreciate that so much, because he knows this area and what is needed far better than we do. He also knows more about convenience than most people. He has never been too busy to meet with us for any reason or to go look at cabinets or any thing else. We feel that we have had the best of everything when it comes to building a new home, plus we hope we have a new friend for life!
We think Jim Ressler is more than competent and is just great. We feel very blessed to have been referred to him for building our log home here in gorgeous Alaska.

Jim was one of those unusual contractors who after finishing your house you wanted for a friend and would invite out to dinner. We built this house “long distance”. He helped identify areas in our original house plan that provided more usable square feet and storage area, helped us identify sources for our cabinets, flooring and appliances, built a strong house and finished on time. He supervised all the steps from clearing the land to putting in the driveway while we were in Texas. He sent digital photos of each major step in the building process. The first time we saw the house was the day we moved in. We have been well satisfied with his work and subsequent help. We recommend him without reservation.

My wife and I have dreamt of owning a log home for over 30 years. Last year our dream came true, with the help of Ressler Construction. Jim's knowledge and advice during the early stages of planning was invaluable. He assisted us in picking a lot that would allow construction of the style home we wanted, with a minimum of excavation work. Jim with Ressler Construction built our 900 SF detached garage in 2006. Being in the construction industry myself, I have to admit I was skeptical of anyone actually building the garage for our family other than myself. We have all heard the horror stories of dealing with valley contractors. Mr. Ressler gave me a quote which was very reasonable, we signed a contract and he went to work immediately.
The experience was very positive, the work was done in a superior, professional manner, no disputes over scope of work and Jim was a lot of fun to work with.
