Pain Management & Control
When our pets show signs of pain, we share their pain. An animal in discomfort will often have decreased appetite, lethargy and lameness. Pets can vocalize pain by whimpering, whining or howling.
A pain assessment can determine if your pet is suffering due to arthritis, cancer, disease, injury or other causes. We do provide adequate testing (x-rays, blood work, urinalysis, etc.) to further diagnose your pet’s pain and we can offer various treatments to alleviate pain. Various medications are used to treat pain (long term if needed with proper monitoring of your pets health), as well as suitable supplements and specialty diets.
