Bracebridge Chiropractic & Wellness Centre is owned and operated by the husband-wife team of Dr. Nick Bianchi and Dr Marie-France Legault. Massage therapy is offered by Rebecca Shraa, R.M.T.

Dr. Nick Bianchi, F.I.S., B.Sc. (Kin), D.C.

Dr. Nick has a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Guelph, and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic (South Carolina). He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the Valedictorian of his class in 2002. Originally from Toronto, Dr. Nick and his wife, Dr. Marie, lived in Calgary for 5 years before settling in Bracebridge in 2008. He enjoys reading, cycling, snowshoeing, and hiking. He is a certified fitness instructor and teaches cycling classes. Dr. Nick incorporates a variety of techniques and approaches to patient care. He enjoys a challenge and is constantly learning more techniques and methods in the field of manual medicine. His area of interest is athletes.

Dr. Marie-France Legault, O.A.S., N.W.S., D.C.

Dr. Marie graduated as a Chiropractor at the age of 24! She also has her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic (South Carolina), graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2002. Dr. Marie is from Jonquiere, Quebec, and moved to Calgary with her husband, Dr. Nick, in 2003. Moving to Bracebridge brought her closer to Quebec. She enjoys reading, snowshoeing, and hiking. Dr. Marie’s passion is using nutrition for wellness. She believes that everybody can achieve their optimal weight and optimal health while enjoying their life. She helps her patients to lose fat & gain health, as well as learn how to exercise effectively & safely. She also specializes in exercise for older adults. Dr. Marie is often accompanied by her sidekick, Antoine.

Antoine is Dr. Nick and Dr. Marie’s son. He was born in 2007. He enjoys spending time in the office, socializing and entertaining people. He loves water and the outdoors.

Rebecca Schraa - RMT

Rebecca Schraa is a registered massage therapist with the college of massage therapists of Ontario (CMTO). She graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 2007 with an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy. During her studies she received her certification in Hot Stone Massage.
Massage Therapy is a clinically-oriented health care option involving a range of techniques to manipulate the soft tissues and joints of the body. The purpose of massage therapy is to prevent, develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, relieve pain, and decrease stress.
Rebecca’s practice is focused on providing relief from a variety of discomforts associated with stress, muscular overuse, and an array of chronic pain syndromes. She uses a variety of techniques in her treatments including: Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, connective tissue/myofascial release, myofascial trigger point therapy, stretching, breathing techniques, and hydrotherapy.
Following an initial assessment, Rebecca will work with you to develop an individual treatment plan and home care routine, designed to produce results. This therapeutic process is a partnership between client and therapist, working together to achieve common and realistic goals.
Rebecca’s passions include her work, her family, and the great outdoors.
