Cerec

Conventional crowns normally take two visits to complete. The first appointment for this type of crown, would consist of freezing, preparing the tooth, taking impressions with trays filled with impression materials, and finally placing a temporary crown until your prescribed lab crown arrives approximately 2 weeks later. At the second appointment, the temporary crown is removed and the finished crown is cemented. You can have a cerec crown done all in one visit, which saves you taking time from your busy schedule. Since we use a computerized cad-cam program on a milling machine to fabricate a Cerec crown, it is actually milled from a solid porcelain block to the exact specifications right before your eyes, usually in 30 minutes or less. No second appointment required. How great is that?

Implants

If you are missing 1 or more teeth, placing implants will not only replace the tooth, but also the root into the bone. You may even forget you have ever lost your tooth, once the implant is completed. Here at Dynamic Dentistry, we have taken the necessary continuing education courses, and actual hands on surgery and are now ready to place implants start to finish, right here in office. We are excited that several patients have already enjoyed the benefits of having missing teeth successfully replaced with beautiful, strong implants.

Digital Panorex X-Rays

At the same time the computers were installed, we replaced our standard x-ray equipment with digital technology. We are now able to get x-ray results in 10 seconds or less, which is definitely an improvement over the 10 to 12 minutes it used to take for standard film development. As well, patients no longer have to put up with mouths full of film to have accurate images captured.

The digital Panorex x-ray uses up to 90% less radiation than the conventional method where actual film is used. This image allows us to see more bone, the jaw joints, the sinuses, as well as the complete roots of the teeth with only one x-ray. As the x-rays are read on the computer screens, we can produce a much larger image that can be viewed using the many tools offered by the computer program. The benefits of being able to see a world of information on one screen and the fact that we get instant images is wonderful.

Intra-Oral Cameras

We installed intra-oral cameras which are connected through the computer system to take digital photos. This allows us to visually monitor changes in the mouth from one appointment to another and take before and after photos during treatment. Photos of particular areas are taken and printed in minutes to use for the Doctor's purposes. This provides you with added client security, as we now have photos of you matched with your computer chart. Intra oral cameras have made a great difference.
