About Appointments:

Our patients are seen by appointment. We respect our patients’ time and make every effort to remain on schedule. Once you have made an appointment, please be aware that this time is reserved especially for you.

Our office sends reminder cards and we will call several days in advance to confirm your appointment. If we are unable to reach you personally, we will leave a reminder and we ask that you return our call to confirm your appointment time. Making every effort to confirm the time set aside just for you, shows our commitment to your excellent dental health. By calling us to confirm your appointment, we know that you join us in this commitment. We hope to make your experience at our office a pleasant and enjoyable one.

About Emergencies and After-hours Care:

Please call immediately if you have a dental problem which you feel requires emergency treatment. We will schedule you as quickly as possible so we can minimize your discomfort. Should an emergency arise after our regularly scheduled office hours, please call 302-629-7115 for further instructions about how to reach a member of our dental team.

About Insurance:

Some patients have the benefit of insurance coverage to help with the cost of their dental care. Dental insurance plans are designed to assist the patient obtain preventative and some restorative treatment and have yearly maximum coverage limits for each individual patient. Unfortunately, due to these limits, most plans do not cover well, if extensive treatment is needed. Regardless of your insurance coverage, we always advise you of the dental procedures that are in your best interest.

Insurance benefits are determined by your employer when they contract with the insurance carrier, so each plan is different. It is important for the patient to be aware of their insurance coverage and benefit limitations. Our office will do everything possible to help you obtain maximum benefits and we will prepare and submit the necessary forms for you. We remind you that you are responsible for any balance not covered by insurance. Our doctors are participating providers with Delta Dental Premier.

Please remember to bring your insurance information with you to your appointment.

About Our Financial Policy:

Upon your request, we will provide you with a detailed explanation of our recommended treatment and an estimate of the fees involved. Payment is expected at the time dental services are rendered unless other financial arrangements have been made. When making arrangements we will take in to consideration any estimated insurance benefits that are available. We accept cash, personal checks and major credit cards and offer interest free plans (with prior approval). If you have any questions, our staff will be happy to speak with you regarding the financial aspect of your treatment.
