All our residents regardless of levels of care are evaluated by a team of professionals that compile a plan of care to improve and maintain his/her maximum potential.
INTERMEDIATE CARE
is for people unable to stay by themselves. They may require assistance with medication or diet monitoring, nursing care for monitoring medical conditions or assistance with activities of daily living.
SKILLED CARE
is for people requiring more complex nursing care such as IV therapy, tube feeding or special therapies.
Medicare A Skilled Care - after a 3 day qualifing hospital stay, if you require further skilled care outside of a hospital setting, your Medicare will pay for everything, including medications for the first 20 days. If you continue to qualify for skilled care, Medicare will continue partial payment accompanied by a $128/day co-payment. This fee may be covered by supplemental insurance, Medicaid, and/or privately for the next 80 days.
Medicare B Skilled Care - pays 80% of therapy treatments or wound care supplies if you do not qualify for Medicare A.
SPECIAL CARE UNIT
We provide a separate, securely locked special care unit with in our facility that provides care to those who suffer from dementia such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and other such related disorders. We provide an environment that is relaxed and emphasizes simplicity, while supporting the safety and security needs of the resident. Group and individualized programs are designed to meet the special needs and care goals of the residents. Specifically designed therapeutic activities emphasize simplification of tasks and goals to reinforce the residents' feeling of conrol, help them adapt to their environment, and give a sense of purpose and meaning to their lives. Special shadow boxes are conveniently placed outside each resident room that displays special items that the resident can identify as their own.. These aide in room location as well as providing stimulating interaction between residents and staff.
