In Sunday School, we:

All of our volunteers and staff are trained and certified in Safe Sanctuaries training. This means we take your child's safety seriously and those who volunteer make a commitment to provide a safe, loving Christian environment for every child who enters our church.

- Learn about God’s love as we hear the stories of the Bible
- We develop a better understanding of scripture and God’s purpose for our lives
- Through God’s grace we can become the person God created us to be.
- Joining with others in a Sunday School class helps us grow in our Christian faith.
- Being part of the fellowship of the Christian community draws us closer to each other and to God.

Youth - Wesley United Methodist Church of Sikeston has a growing, fun, exciting group of teens and young adults. Come to Sunday School at 9 a.m. and see what our Youth are up to. We also meet at 2:00 pm on Sundays for Youth Activities we call ourselves S.W.A.T. Someone Will Always be There. Come and join the fun!!!!

At Wesley UMC we value the importance of family time and building healthy and strong relationships. We also believe that a strong faith-filled church family is important too. That's why, in addition to activities and programs for adults, youth and children, we offer lots of activities for families to share together.
We would love for your family to come and join our church family during our special events. A few of our annual family events are:
Worship together or bring your children 5 or under to our nursery. Our nursery staff is certified in Safe Sanctuaries which provides a safe, loving, Christian environment for every child who enters our doors.
Sunday School class for our children and Adults is at 9 am something right for each member of your family.
