Meet Dr. Armento and Staff
Dr. Michael J. Armento has lived his entire life in northern New Jersey. He graduated from Villanova University in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in comprehensive science, and obtained his doctor of dental medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2002; the same school from which his father, an orthodontist, and two brothers, general dentists, also graduated. As a one-year resident of Overlook Hospital, in Summit, N.J., Dr. Armento was able to further his training while giving back to the community by treating underprivileged patients.
In 2006 Dr. Armento completed the practice transfer from Dr. Orlans, who had retired after practicing dentistry in the Randolph area for over 30 years. Dr. Armento is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and S.A.D.E, a continuing education study group comprised of 25 local dentists and specialists. Dr. Armento has lived in Randolph for eight years with his wife, two young sons, and their dog. Dr. Armento hopes that his honesty, compassion, and expertise will help create healthy smiles for his patients for many years to come.
Kirsten Brancheau is a registered dental hygienist who has been helping people find ways to improve their health and smiles for over 30 years. She enjoys hiking, playing tennis and spending time with her three children, husband and pets. Kirsten is a volunteer at a local animal shelter and is also a freelance proofreader/editor.
Rachel Nicol has been working in the field of dentistry since 1989. She is both a certified dental assistant as well as a registered dental assistant. She lives in Stanhope with her husband, two children, and her two Boston terriers. Educating her patients to care for their mouth is one of her main goals every day.
Millie Aponte has worked as the office manager for the same practice since 1986. Due to this consistency, she has seen our patients grow up right before her eyes, and even start families of their own, whom we continue to care for. Millie feels that her personal service is what separates her from the rest. She is married with two sons, a daughter and a dog and lives in Lafayette. Millie is also fluent in Spanish.
