Restorations
Restorations or fillings can be either silver (amalgam) or white (composite resin) and are used to repair decayed or broken teeth.

Endodontics
A root canal is a procedure where the nerve is removed and filled with a suitable material. Root canals are usually required when a tooth has infection or the decay has reached the nerve.

Crowns
Crowns, also referred to as caps, are custom made to fit over the tooth. They are usually made of porcelain or porcelain fused to metal and are indicated when a tooth is heavily restored and runs the risk of fracturing.

Bridges
A bridge is a non-removable, porcelain or porcelain fused to metal prosthetic which is used to replace missing teeth.

Dentures
A denture is a removable prosthetic which replaces any or all missing teeth in the upper or lower arch.

Implant Prosthesis
Much like a crown, an implant prosthesis would cover the implant like a tooth. It is also non-removable and made of porcelain or porcelain fused to metal.

Veneers
A veneer is a thin shell made of porcelain or composite material that is custom made and bonded to the front of the tooth. They are ideal for improving conditions such as discolored or chipped teeth and can be used to close spaces between the teeth.

Bonding
Bonding is an alternative to veneers and can be used as a cosmetic procedure for teeth that are chipped, cracked or discolored.

Whitening
Also called bleaching, teeth whitening can brighten and whiten your teeth. This procedure is done at home with custom fitting trays and a bleaching gel.

Pit and Fissure Sealants
Dental sealants are a highly effective way to protect your child's teeth from cavities. Sealants are a clear, protective coating that is applied to the pits and grooves of the permanent adult molars.

Athletic Mouth Guards
Athletic mouth guards are essential in the prevention of athletic oral injuries.

Bruxism Splints
This type of splint is a custom made appliance that is worn at night to absorb the force of clenching and grinding. Wearing this appliance may relieve some of the symptoms caused by TMJ (Tempro mandibular joint) disorder and reduce the risk of wear on teeth from grinding.

Digital Radiography
Digital radiography is a form of x-ray, where sensors are used instead of film. Advantages of digital radiography include immediate image availability using much reduced radiation exposure.

The Wand
The source of most discomfort from an injection is not the needle, but the flow of the anaesthetic into the tissue. The wand delivers the anaesthetic at a flow that is comfortable and essentially pain-free.

Oral Hygiene
Regular dental check-ups are essential in maintaining good general health. Poor oral hygiene can lead to a variety of dental and medical problems. Not only can a regular check-up and cleaning help in the prevention of decay or gum disease, it can also aid in the prevention of infection, bone loss, and diabetes complications. When you have your dental check-up, the dentist is also screening for oral cancer which is highly curable if diagnosed early.
