THE NEW GLARUS HOME, INC.

The New Glarus Home, Inc. is a nonprofit, state licensed, 97 bed skilled nursing home, affiliated with the United Church of Christ, licensed by the State of Wisconsin and a member of the Wisconsin and the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, and The Councils for Health and Human Service Ministries, United Church of Christ. The New Glarus Home was founded in 1966. Currently we have 30 acres and major expansions since the opening have included a 10 unit Glarner Lodge Community Based Residential Facility, a chapel and activity center, a 22 unit Glarner Haus Retirement Apartment complex for independent living, and 26 spacious duplex units, designated the Glarner Retirement Village. Our nursing home operates under a total health Care Team concept with a skilled nursing staff, augmented by experienced medical doctors from area communities and with registered physical, occupational and speech therapists available as needed. We operate under strict State and Federal regulations, but over and above those, we operate with a commitment that the entire staff and volunteers subscribe to: a commitment that a spirit of love and service to humanity shall be their guiding force in providing care to all of our residents.
