ST. JOHN'S GARDEN APARTMENTS

The New Glarus Home manages two facilities in Monroe, a 50 unit assisted living facility named St. Clare Friedensheim and a 31 unit apartment complex named St. John's Garden Apartments. The assisted living units opened in July 2000 and each resident has their own private apartment with living, bath bedroom, and kitchen areas. Each of the 50 apartments is physically attached to an activity and dining hall, where neighbors can meet. The apartments are also attached to St. John's Garden Apartments. The 31 St. John's Garden Apartments have been in operation since 1977. St. John's and St. Clare share a Chapel area for their residents. St. Clare Friedensheim is jointly sponsored by the New Glarus Home, St. John's United Church of Christ and the Monroe Clinic.
